Pongo is a Wildstyler and as such he research, designs and evolves the structures of letters, writing and metropolitan images. From the early 1990s, he painted every surface with particular attraction towards trains and subways, but without neglecting the large walls of the suburbs, thus becoming one of the most prominent figures in Italy.
Very active both in Milan and internationally, he participates in events throughout Europe, and intensified relations with American crews, relationships born in the 1980s during a stay in New York. Join the TNB and start artistic collaborations with the TATs, famous historical New Yorker groups already active in the 70s and considered the pioneers of Writing. His "Road Writer" activity lasts several years until 2000.
With the new millennium, he shifts his interests towards philosophical research, the nature and sustainability of life on our planet. Today he uses painting towards artistic choices useful to his own and others' human growth, without forgetting the frontier experiences, coherently with his own past of Public Art.
Pongo scratches the future to affirm that there will be a future, revealing the extreme effects of the obtuseness of the world's governments. He makes visible the possible consequences of the systems that produced them. No more graffiti as a pressing invitation to raise awareness of urban degradation, but the scratch on the habitat, the crumbling future of the planet.
He creates out of focus and sequences of parallel tangibility planes that can take on three-dimensional consistency, expressing the enigmatic power of cryptic signs, recurrent symbolic traces with an almost esoteric meaning. Mathematical equations that refer to the idea of infinity stand out on works of apocalyptic language, placed on parallel planes.
From 1999 to today he has participated in numerous solo and group shows, always present at the most important graffiti jams in the world and lives between Milan and New York.
