Tax receipts worked in 5 different ways with acrylics and sprays. The large changes of hand transformed the original receipt's descriptions which have been lost though keeping their essence, Upcycling art, sustainability and recovery of poor and consumable materials such as tax receipts transformed into an elegant and constantly changing work by Luca Mancone's creative flair. Currently on display in an exhibition in Milan.

Luca Mancone's artistic journey is distinguished by a continuous actualization: the tax receipt becomes the protagonist of constantly changing works, an absolutely innovative medium that is perfectly cast in the relational reality of contemporary society in perpetual evolution. Luca Mancone draws inspiration from a frenetic Milan, his hometown, and from the economic sciences he has delved into that are based on the coldness of numbers. Luca has bent these facts to a dimension of intellectual research that he likes to call visual irony. The tax receipt is a "poor" reality that lives a few seconds and unnoticed, but represents a real world. A world that speaks of places, needs, dreams, loves, fears, desires, expressed fully in the purchase made; the artist extends the life of the tax receipt and gives voice to the meanings hidden in it. A universal message is found in his elegant and minimal works: the transformation of the painting itself. The receipt is imprisoned in the painting but the thermal paper changes over time, giving rise to a process of "aging"; air and heat transform the hues, making them warmer. Luca Mancone's contemporary and abstract art changes over time, and his works slowly accompany those who experience them.
