Mixed media on canvas

50x50 cm

The materials are a strong reference to suburban walls: from posters to plaster to spray and acrylic colors. The spray cans cut and glued to the canvas represent in a direct and descriptive way the complex interweaving of poor materials that create a totally abstract urban photography. Canvas signed and with COA.

  • Son of art, he comes into contact with the world of graffiti since the early 90s, totally fascinated by the contexts where they are performed: walls, trains, stations, suburbs.

In those years he began the study of letters and the evolution of writing, deciding to bring these fascinations on canvas, abolishing the figurative part and giving ample emphasis to the poetry of colors combined with the material study.

In 2009 he began to collaborate with some Galleries by participating in international art fairs and solo and group exhibitions. In 2011 he collaborates with Artetivù and in 2013 he participates in the 55 Venice Biennale for the "Back 2 Back to Biennale" event dedicated to Street Art. He paints the corridors of the Luxury Hotel La Griffe in Rome and participates in the urban redevelopment of Brescia in collaboration with the Brescia Mobility Authority. He has collaborated in the graphic realization of albums with some Italian and foreign music bands of the punk rock scene.

The materials he uses are a strong reference to suburban walls: posters, plastics, fabrics, concrete, plaster, glues and adhesives to get to colors such as sprays, acrylics, enamels, markers and pencils. The most recent works explore new materials: spray cans cut and glued to the canvas represent in a direct and descriptive way the complex intertwining of poor materials that create a totally abstract urban photography.
